You are a busy professional, a spouse, parent, and child of aging parents. You consistently feel like you are over-worked but must “push through”. You are having trouble falling and staying asleep. You have developed a short fuse and feel guilty about your interactions with others. You find yourself addressing the same issues over and over again and feel that nothing ever gets completed at work or at home. You are beginning to have health issues you never had before.

Do you dread the anxiety of Sunday evening and waking up on Mondays to face the week?

Do you find yourself always feeling like you need to “catch up”, lacking energy and time for friends or the gym?

Do you find yourself having thoughts that you'd rather just not be here anymore or have a different life completely?

Are you finding it hard to concentrate?

Do you have a short fuse and feel you have less tolerance for other people than you used to?

Are you abusing alcohol or other drug?

Are you a busy professional and a spouse, parent or caregiver to aging parents experiencing burnout?

You may not know where to start to look for a therapist who can really help.

Possibly you’ve been to therapy before and it wasn’t helpful. Maybe you even feel guilty for asking for help. Maybe you feel like past therapy experiences have not been focused or goal oriented enough.

No matter how successful we become we will always need many different types of support to be our best. Just because you can successfully  juggle a thousand things doesn’t mean you don’t deserve support, especially if you are struggling with emotions or fears that are getting in the way of your happiness and success. Entrepreneurs and Executives struggle with anxiety and depression more than the general population. The pressures you face at work and at home are real. It is possible to reduce burnout, build healthy habits, make better decisions and deepen relationships.

Therapy for executives and entrepreneurs is a place to put you first. We often show the world that we are competent and strong. Many times we feel overlooked and are left wondering why we feel so lonely and isolated. Professionals who seek therapy are capable of achieving more, find more meaning in their lives and heal their relationships. As entrepreneurs and executives we have to be aware of the impact of burnout on our lives. Learning to slow down and take care of ourselves allows us to be more present for ourselves and those we love. You work so hard. Now it’s time to focus on you.

I have a difficult schedule. I’m not sure I have time for therapy. - We offer therapy sessions 7 days a week starting at 8am on weekdays and ending at 9pm. We also offer Saturday and Sunday availability. Additionally we are happy to offer online sessions when you are unable to come to the office. We also offer a very reasonable rescheduling policy and will work with you as best we can to find time to reschedule.

I’ve been to therapy in the past and it didn’t help. - We want to see results as much as you. We take special care to check in regularly as well as use evidence-based tools to help evaluate our progress. We also develop goals together, assign tasks outside the therapy office if requested/needed and make every changes to our work together as needed.

I’m worried that people might find out I’m in therapy. - Like other medical appointments your confidentiality is protected by law except in some circumstances where you or others may be in danger. We also offer online sessions which provide the opportunity to have therapy from a private space eliminating the need to come to an office.

“Are you paralyzed with fear? That’s a good sign. Fear is good. Like self-doubt, fear is an indicator. Fear tells us what we have to do. Remember one rule of thumb: the more scared we are of a work or calling, the more sure we can be that we have to do it.”
